Leadership Award: 2011 UNEP Bayer Young Environmental Leader Award

I implemented a green energy project in Kenya that aimed to lower carbon emissions by using clean fuel briquettes made of foliage and waste paper rather than traditional cooking fuels such as charcoal. The project provided three briquette making machines to three secondary schools to create an alternative energy source and income for the school community.
